Logos

Christening a new product with a logo has been a favorite part of what I do. Knowing that mark is often a first impression I've always set out to make sure that impression sticks.

Conference Logo

Conference Logo

A concept sheet for an entrepreneurial conference. After sketching, this is typical of what I show to clients, allowing them to pull from what they like and narrow down choices. The logo at the top was eventually the logo chosen.

Catapult - Product Branding

A firm building technology for government defense needed a logo to brand it's new cyberspace program. They wanted something that would embody the feeling of a new territory defend. Playing off the idea of a "new frontier" I went with a space mission patch. The logo featured prominently in a printed piece used during a national conference.

Harrisburg Wine Festival

A festival that underwent almost yearly re-branding at client request, needed a fresh, memorable look. A sophisticated, yet playful color scheme was adapted and exaggerated serifs add a spirit of revel to a otherwise straightforward typeset on the word "festival". Logo carried well throughout display advertising, on glass etching and in large-format signage.

Client came with name in hand for a new consultancy that specializes in winning government contracts. Playing on an idea of leading the way - the Olympic torch was worked into the design. The printed leave-behind piece was printed in two-colors to reduce costs and featured a smaller 5X7 size.

Guitar Workshop Logo

A new social group created by an area guitar teacher needed a logo. The typography works itself into the shape of the guitar to establish a theme. Branding was continued through a printed brochure distributed to local music shops.

FGV Media

FGV Media went through corporate re-branding after coming under new management. Wanting to stay with the teal blue color, an accent of bright yellow-green was added. Along with an informational brochure, full-page advertisements were also created; concept and copy were executed as well.
